This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Utah Jazz are looking for a Game Night Graphic Design Intern to join their creative team for the 24/25 (Oct 1, 2024 - April 15, 2025) season. Working under the direction of the Social Media Manager in connection with the Design Manager, this position will be responsible for creating digital graphics for the Jazz social media channels on a game night basis. Our ideal candidate is passionate, hard-working, detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment, and is familiar with online trends. Each candidate must provide a design portfolio for review.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize look-and-feel templates to deliver game night assets to the Utah Jazz social media team, including quarter graphics, milestones, highlight slates and other elements as needed
• Be able to work both home and away games in addition to appropriate in-office hours to learn from both the social media and design teams
• Continue to develop graphic design skills and participate in monthly design events
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Undergraduate Junior or Senior studying Graphic Design or a related field
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Able to work 25 to 30 hours
• Web or PDF portfolio demonstrating strong skills in graphic design, branding, layout design, typography, photo editing, and print with attention to detail
• Speed and proficiency with current Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work well on quick turnarounds and short deadlines
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Persists in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks
• Proactively seeks feedback without being defensive

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
