This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Utah Jazz are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join our marketing team for the 2022-23 season. This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week from September 2023 to April 2024. This position will support the marketing coordinator and manager in executing advertising and promotional campaigns to support ticket sales, youth programs, community relations initiatives, brand campaigns and more. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in sports marketing and help you develop marketable job skills as you pursue a career in sports marketing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that drive revenue, engage fans and develop new fans
• Provide marketing support for internal departments and help them achieve their overarching business goals
• Support the marketing and automation specialist in writing, editing, and building email marketing communications
• Work with the brand creative team to create persuasive collateral for marketing, ticketing, corporate partnerships, team store, game presentation, community relations and public relations
• Maintain consistency of marketing communications across multiple media channels and traffic deliverables on time and on strategy
• Manage and fulfill internal and external print projects
• Protect the reputation of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently studying or recently graduated in marketing or related field
• Available to work 20-30 hours a week including some nights and weekends
• Previous marketing experience (preferred)
• Previous experience with email automation (preferred)
• Positive attitude and team oriented
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent follow-through skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
• Outgoing, friendly personality
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
