Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Utah Jazz marketing initiatives. This position will oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media and promotional efforts on Utah Jazz-owned channels. The Marketing Manager will work with the Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies for campaigns that support various departments within the organization, including ticketing, corporate partnerships, youth, community relations, public relations, people and culture, and basketball operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support ticket sales, youth registrations, community relations activations, CounterPoint merchandise sales, jersey launches, and owned channel growth.
• Liaise with paid media agencies to ensure the execution of the annual paid media strategy.
• Act as the primary point of contact between assigned departments and the marketing department to support departmental goals, projects, and overall objectives.
• Oversee project management for assigned departments and projects to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Assist in planning the annual marketing budget and ensure campaigns and projects stay within the allocated budget.
• Engage and expand the fan base by executing consumer promotions, event planning, and facilitating the creation of persuasive marketing materials.
• Develop messaging consistent with the brand voice and ensure messaging and strategy are uniform across various owned and paid channels. Write and edit copy as needed.
• Work with the analytics team to provide reporting on paid and organic marketing efforts, identify insights, and implement changes to improve campaign results.
• Manage and fulfill internal and external print projects.
• Oversee direct reports and be responsible for their growth and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred.
• Three years of marketing work experience (sports or entertainment preferred).
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
