VMI Worldwide, a Hollywood-based independent Media, Production and Sales Company is looking for a Manager of Worldwide Sales & Digital Distribution. This position is responsible for sales in foreign territories across multiple distribution outlets including theatrical, DVD, television and managing and maintaining sales and licensing of programming to all digital outlets across the company's catalogue. This is a perfect position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment in the entertainment business and possesses a desire for growth in the film industry, with an emphasis on foreign sales and digital distribution.
Job Requirements:
• Must have knowledge of and multiple years of experience working in international sales, and preferably experience working with digital platforms. Relationships with buyers and distributors is a major plus.
• Must possess the ability to accurately assess company's needs, streamline processes, and build solid infrastructure for growth
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure with deadlines and interface effectively with various departments
• Must have strong attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
• Requires a collaborative, proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. Must be a mature thinker and a ''self-starter,'' as well as a team player with leadership qualities.
• Excellent organizational skills are required along with the ability to effectively organize time & workload to meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
• Close licensing agreements across all media and across all the company's catalogue in respective territories.
• Oversee all licenses in your territories from initiating interest via pitching through to closing, contracting and payment.
• Review new projects as and when required and provide detailed forecasting for all your territories (and others) as requested.
• Assist in devising and revising marketing and sales strategies for all content.
• Maintain and develop relationships with distributors producers and digital platforms
• Prepare and issue pitches, promoting the catalogue represented by the company specific to availability and client requirements
• Organize meetings and market events/attendance as required.
