Events and Project Manager (Pro social) - FTC 22 Months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our International Social Responsibility (ISR) Team. Reporting into the Director of International Social Responsibility you will be responsible for the management and implementation of a number of international projects and events for VIMN’s ISR campaigns. You will get to work across all stages of project lifecycle and input into production elements and be responsible for working with departments in the company as well as external partners. Projects you will work on include the roll out of MTV Breaks at the MTV EMA's and Isle of MTV in Malta, Viacom Out in 60, World AIDS Day events (including Hit Snooze), Viacommunity Day and more.
Key Responsibilities include;
• Creating and delivering project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Delegate roles & responsibilities to individuals/teams for each project when needed.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of each project. This can be with internal VIMN staff as well as external partners.
• Preparing and tracking project budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Collate data and research.
• Work with producers, developers and designers to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Write project status reports and prepare presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist senior management with proposals and presentations as and when required.
• Write copy for internal and external publications on departmental projects.
• Assist department with admin duties as and when required, including finance.
• Work with relevant staff on external communication of projects.
• Source suppliers, venues, crews for events, often non UK-based, and nurture these third party relationships.
• Responsible for tracking department budget.

• The drive to take ISR programming - and awareness of it - beyond where it has ever gone before
• Good knowledge of the TV industry and emerging broadcasting trends
• Good knowledge of television and online production process
Please note this role requires international travel.
