Photography Producer

This is a Full Time Job


Plan and organize gallery photography shoots for television series, specials, pilots and events such as press tours, awards shows, etc. Work hand-in-hand with creative groups to deliver the highest quality photography in the most cost effective, efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and Produces gallery photography shoots for Advertising, Marketing, Publicity and Corporate campaigns.
• Partners with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across formats and media outlets
• Collaborates with all other internal groups to manage project work
• Develops working relationships with talent and talent reps (agents, managers and publicists)
• Establishes working relationships with show production personnel and external studio contacts
• Coordinates and manages logistics with studios, location scouts, etc.
• Represents Disney/ABC Television in negotiations with vendors (e.g., set designers, caterers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, etc.)
• Manages editing and retouching for their galleries.
• Manages episodic for assigned shows
• Pitch photography to publications

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience producing photo shoots
• Can create and manage budgets
• Demonstrated skills at organizing events
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• The ability to multi-task under pressure, work weekends
• Domestic and some international travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical work experience in Photography a plus.
• Contacts with publications

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Art, Communications or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
