Location: Burbank, California, United States of America
Your New Role:
To research and develop materials and talent for television and motion picture development and production.
Your Role Responsibilities:
• Reviews and responds to creative script, IP and book submissions. Generates and distributes coverage and synopses
• Maintains and complies lists of writers, directors and actors.
• Formulates ideas and locates and nurtures new talent
• Maintains and compiles competitive reports for TV and film
• Participates in discussions involving TV and film related areas, such as music for movies and music videos (i.e. recommends writers, directors, cast for hiring)
• Solicits, analyzes and evaluates material for development and production
• Researches and coordinates various projects as assigned.
• Supervises development of material and projects to be made by Alloy Entertainment.
• Evaluates and meets with new writers, directors, producers, actors for use in Alloy projects.
• Prepares and updates internal reports which outline Alloy development and production status
• Acts as a liaison between the Senior Executives and the creative community.
• Attends and participates in creative meetings. Coordinates and follows up on resulting ideas and projects.
• Responsible for supervising activities and staff members in job tasks.
• Ensures that production schedules and budgets are kept as needed
• Attends screenings as a representative and takes specific script notes
• Establishes and maintains contacts with the writers on current projects
• Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
Work Experience
• Previous experience with television, International and Domestic film markets preferred (2+ years).
• Sufficient knowledge/experience with television and film development and production (2+ years).
Education
, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Must be able to locate, nurture and formulate ideas for new talent.
• Must be able to research and coordinate various projects.
• Knowledge of, and business relationships with, US television and film
makers, talent and agents.
• PC Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and E-Mail preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.

• Must be able to handle confidential information and material.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
