Job Title: A&R Administration Temp
A little bit about our team:
The intersection of A&R, Business Affairs and Finance, A&R Administration oversees the recording process from a business perspective. This includes administering all A&R related budgets and handling recording related legal issues and logistics. Further, the department serves as the primary interface between A&R/Marketing/Legal and Production in the creation and release of all commercial and promotional products. This position reports to the SVP of A&R Administration.
Your role:
The A&R Administration Temp will work closely with business affairs, A&R, finance, marketing and production teams. Your responsibilities will include contract administration, weekly forecasting, budget tracking, assisting in third party vendor set ups, paying invoices, knowledge in AFTRA/SAG and AF of M union contracts and guidelines, coordinating studio production, mixing and mastering, compiling metadata for production, and delivering all assets under the artist recording agreement.
Here you'll get to:
• Act as a liaison between members of the A&R team and a wide array of internal and external contacts including senior management, outside industry contacts, artists, artist managers, vendors, internal departments, etc.
• General administrative duties in support of multiple A&Rs, such as- booking travel, booking studio time, working with outside attorneys to obtain signed producer and mixer agreements, ensuring deliverables and assets are obtained in a timely manner
• Coordinate contract administration
• Track and maintain recording budgets
• Issue purchase orders to vendors, supply vendor forms and documents, setup vendors in the system, obtain necessary approvals for invoices and costs, and process invoices
• File and process of all union-related (SAG-AFTRA & AFM) contracts as applicable
• Compile/submit metadata and production ready audio to WMG Production
• Maintain/submit deliverable assets to WMG Library
About you:
• Have a passion for current music, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in and experience with SAP, Ariba, Concur, Dropbox, Aspera, Box
• Extremely organized, able to balance multiple projects, abide by strict deadlines, and respond in a timely manner
• You are a team player and maintain very positive relationships with co-workers, artists, managers, attorneys, etc.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to perform well under-pressure, multi-task, problem solve
• The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are also required
We'd love it if you also had:
• 2-3+ years' experience
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

Salary Range
$17.95 to $25.00 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
