Assistant, Creative Marketing

This role provides administrative and marketing support for the SVP of Creative Marketing. This role will gain exposure to many facets of the business, and will learn the ins and outs of crafting successful marketing campaigns!
Here you'll get to:
• Maintain calendars, schedules, and deadlines for the creative marketing department
• Organize and submit monthly expense reports (T&E) and monitor approval status of the reports to ensure prompt payment
• Administer budget coding, open POs, and process invoices
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors including managing prompt invoicing and payments
• Attend meetings with product managers, identify key opportunities, and help implement marketing visions
• Take notes during meetings on behalf of the creative marketing team & distribute in a timely manner to relevant parties
• Communicate production changes made with internal teams
• Research potential partners for brand activations
• Develop new marketing strategies and ideas
• Write copy for promotional tools, internal communications, and other marketing materials, including, but not limited to artist one-sheets, email blasts, posters, stickers, etc.
• Research and study new consumer trends- Be up to date on discovery platforms (i.e. TikTok)
• Maintain a knowledge of the general music landscape
• Create decks and comprehensive marketing materials for internal and external partners
• Coordinate multiple artist projects and activities with other internal departments
• Manage and support artist events with outside vendors and venues
• Coordinate with the art department and production to design tools such as posters, stickers, cover art, digital assets, and ads
• Liaise with outside marketing and street team companies and provide tools such as posters, stickers, CDs, samplers, and music
• Attend events and shows to form relationships with contacts at other record labels, agencies, management firms, and other entertainment companies
About you:
• Passion for the music industry – specifically, pop and rock/alternative
• Comfortable sharing your opinions and listening to others carefully
• Experience using various design programs such as Canva or Photoshop
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working in a team dynamic
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proven time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to ever changing deadlines
• Robust research skills
• Out of the box thinking & creativity
We'd love it if you also had:
• Associate's degree or higher
• Tech savvy and proficiency in Google Workshop, Photoshop, and all social media platforms
• Experience with compiling data and discerning most relevant or important data
• At least one year of music industry experience
