WMX is designed to provide our artists and labels with a deep, dynamic range of services – covering everything from streaming to merch to branded content and beyond.
We're excited to bring artists, fans, and advertisers together in powerful ways through the five key functions that work together to maximize reach and impact: Commercial Channels (E-Commerce, Retail, Licensing, VIP), Commercial Operations, Agency Services, Marketing & Global Ad Sales.
The Marketing Team is responsible for on-line and off-line marketing to engage consumers/fans and convert them to super-fans as well as B2B marketing.
Areas of Focus:
• Brand Marketing: B2B & B2C marketing tactics to create awareness and drive affinity for the WMX and O&O content brands
• Digital/Aquisition Marketing: Ownership of e-mail / social media / web-based marketing inclusive of ad credits. Also manages social commerce & content roadmap across social platforms
• Consumer Engagement:
• CRM: Develop company wide best practices and execute e-mail campaigns that drive key results
• Data Insights: Leverage first party data insights to make recommendations for targeting and ad campaign management
• Events & Experiences: Plans & execute B2B and B2C Events
The Marketing team is made up of digital marketing masters, data gurus, social media mavens and event experts. We are creative and detail obsessed. Above all, we are music fans - unabashed, enthusiastic music fans. We are passionate champions of our artists, and we work tirelessly to deliver for them every album cycle, every tour, every day.
Your role:
SVP, Marketing will be responsible for the developing the overall strategy to drive consumer engagement across our 200+ artist web stores, O&O digital properties, set marketing best practices across our global footprint, as well as oversight of our systems (e.g. CRM ) & strategies that lead to the acquisition & conversion of customers and ongoing customer lifecycle touchpoints through online and offline (e.g. SMS) campaigns. Reporting directly to the President of WMX, you will demonstrate strategic vision & tactical superiority in support of driving the data acquisition, marketing and revenue goals of WMX.
Here you'll get to:
• Create new and innovative ways to engage with fans to acquire first party data
• Lead a team of marketers across B2C and B2B touchpoints
• Manage CRM functions & develop a customer data roadmap
• Analyze our first party data in support of developing digital marketing strategies
• Provide digital marketing thought leadership to other parts of Warner Music Group
• Execute digital marketing campaigns & measure their effectiveness
• Launch retail media offering on e-commerce websites
• Define & measure clear OKRs (Objectives / Key Results
• Evangelize best practices across websites on a global basis
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and SEM strategy and achieve measurable results
• Create and execute against a social commerce marketing roadmap
• Utilize our ad credits in the most optimal way possible
• Plan & execute events in support of our artists, corporate clients & employees
