Job Title: Warehouse Associate
A little bit about our team:
Homemade Merchandise is a music and entertainment merchandising company based in Los Angeles, California. We partner directly with some of the world's best musicians, comedians, podcasts and brands for whom we operate e-commerce websites and organize touring merchandise on behalf.
Your role:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping merchandise orders. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition, contributing to a positive customer experience and the overall success of our business.
Here you'll get to:
• Receive and process orders from various sales channels (website, marketplaces, etc.)
• Accurately pick & scan merchandise from inventory shelves based on order details
• Verify item accuracy, including size, color, and quantity
• Carefully package items to prevent damage during shipping
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation
• Sort and distribute packages for shipment
• Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels
• Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
• Participate in regular stock checks and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
About you:
• Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Basic computer skills
We'd love it if you also had:
• Passion for music and familiarity with band merchandise
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and carriers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workplace
