Position Overview: The Director, Digital Content is responsible for developing and driving integrated digital content marketing programs focused on both Team/League tentpole campaigns and Team content, designed to engage with target audiences to drive revenue for the business. This role will produce content along with supervising content production by direct and indirect report teammates, with a specific focus in social media destinations. You'll be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of the content, sharing results, and providing recommendations for improvements that you'll subsequently complete.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the content marketing of tentpole campaigns during the season, including schedule release, free agency, draft, Commissioner's Cup, all-star voting and game, and post-season awards.
• Support the Social Media Team in game day (home & away) storytelling including game storyline and story arcs, directing resources to support home and road games and to support team events.
• Develop an integrated digital campaign outline for each content campaign, articulating objectives, strategy, tactics, and critical metrics.
• Create an established look & feel, in keeping with overall brand standards.
• Determine the content production & release schedule and ensure on-time execution.
• Analyze results and make adjustments during the campaign to optimize.
• Have a strong emphasis on increasing league rankings in all social media platforms through tentpole campaigns.
• Establish and maintain campaign dashboards to show progress to goal.
• Manage three (3) direct reports.
• Leverage shared services in line with allocated budget.
• Provide support for season-long video-based content tentpoles & franchises within the Go-Go.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of content marketing experience and 3 years of content campaign strategy experience.
• Excellent strategy skills, including business strategy, concept decks, and business analytics reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead both direct and indirect reports; build coalitions and create shared goals. Ability to build positive relationships with peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once; strong project management & organization skills.
• Ability to analyze campaign results, provide recommendations for improvement, and implement changes during campaigns to optimize results.
• Advanced knowledge and experience using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Deep knowledge of content marketing standard processes and emerging trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under timelines while producing quality work.
• Passionate about all sports, especially women's basketball, from grassroots to professional levels.
• Competitive nature and positive demeanor.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain a flexible work schedule and work extended hours. Must be willing to travel with the Team for away games & League events.
Pay Range: $90-100k USD.
