Summer Paid Intern - Ticket Sales & Service

This is a Full Time Paid Internship

The Ticket Sales Intern will work closely with the Ticket Sales, Group Sales, and Membership Services teams to implement sales initiatives and achieve ticket sales and revenue goals. Internship experience will focus on the fundamentals of the sales process. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in outbound sales campaigns and community outreach.
• Assist sales team with prospecting efforts in relation to our group sales program.
• Learn standard processes surrounding ticketing systems including ARCHTICS and Salesforce CRM.
• Work Washington Mystics games in a variety of roles including gameday activations and hospitality management.
• Assist with administrative tasks for the department/executive team (i.e. presentation creation, special projects, mailings, data entry, research, etc.)
• Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate or graduate student.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Outstanding work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, a passion for the sports industry, and an interest in sales.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Competitive nature and a positive demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Familiarity with social media tools.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation and housing.

Pay Rate: $17.50 USD/hour.
