Full Posting:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for all departments
• Create extensive behind-the-scenes, social media, long-form features, TV and radio commercials, and highlight videos
• Organize and adhere to internal workflows to share projects easily
• Continuously develop skills and explore new creative techniques
• Collaborate with the Manager of Video Production to execute the team's objectives
• Produce content in various styles, ensuring Nationals branding is implemented
• Review, proof, and edit content with a critical eye
• Handle additional video projects outside essential duties as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere)
- Experience with interchangeable lens cameras, Sony a plus
- Experience with manual camera settings and shooting in a cinematic style
- Knowledge of professional lighting, audio equipment, and camera support systems (sliders, gimbals)
- Experience with motion graphic programs (Adobe After Effects) and graphic programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Demo reel required
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lead projects from concept to completion
- Organize and adhere to internal workflows
- Produce and create new and exciting video and graphical content
- Handle constructive criticism and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Work independently and manage numerous tasks simultaneously
- Must travel during Spring Training and throughout the season as needed
- Ability to work all home games and special events
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be knowledgeable of the Nationals' schedule, players, baseball statistics, rules, and records
- Professional baseball or sports production experience preferred
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
• Work requires weekends, evenings, and extended hours
• Function in high-activity, heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venues
• May work at heights and be exposed to inclement weather
• Regularly required to stand for long periods, walk long distances, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
• Must lift and/or move up to 45 lbs
Compensation and Benefits:
The projected salary range for this position is $49,575 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications, skills, education, and other factors. The Nationals offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
