Senior Marketing and Promotions Manager

This is a Full Time Job

The Senior Manager, Marketing and Promotions will support Wizards marketing efforts and strategies serving as the leader for all Wizards promotions, giveaways, and fan events. The role will also support Wizards brand elements that connect to the local community and culture including fashion, art, and team lead events.

Responsibilities:
• Develop Wizards giveaway and promotional scheduling including but not limited to ideating items, design creation with creative team, budgeting, working with the Wizards official giveaway partners on development, and completing all fan gate giveaways on game day.
• Work with digital team for management of giveaway promotions on website and brainstorm and implement social promotions for advertising items.
• Collaborate with sales and procure all gifts with purchase and sales add on products for organization.
• Oversee part time game day staffers including hiring, scheduling, management, and payroll for the marketing department.
• Support Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Director in execution of organization wide brand projects including retail collaborations, commissioned art activations (murals), and large-scale events.
• Serve as the primary lead for marketing led event planning including Draft Party, player fashion show, and all potential future events.
• Manage arena wide signage projects including inventory, facilitating designs, and installation of signage and arena art.
• Support the larger Marketing team in org-wide working group settings, including participation in discussion and driving next steps.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of experience in marketing or branding.
• Prior experience in promotional item procurement strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proofreading skills; outstanding attention to detail.
• Organized, detail driven, and is an outstanding teammate.
• Strong work ethic and ability to complete projects under timelines.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for gameday duties.

Pay Range: $78-86k USD.
