Entertainment Paralegal - Hybrid
Weintraub Tobin is seeking a highly skilled and driven Paralegal to join our Entertainment & Media practice group in Los Angeles. This role is pivotal in supporting our entertainment & media clients and ensuring seamless contract negotiations through expertise, responsiveness, exceptional organizational skills, and a first-class commitment to client service.
In supporting our clients, you will work as part of a team providing specialized support for production companies and for talent, on marquee projects for premier distributors, networks, and streaming platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the lifecycle of production agreements, such as vendors, locations, crew members, department heads, music licenses, clearances and the like.
• Draft, revise, negotiate and finalize a variety of agreements, legal documents and correspondence for film, television, digital media and new media talent.
• Communicate with entertainment labor unions such as SAG-AFTRA, DGA and WGA.
• Conduct legal research and provide support on various legal matters related to media productions and labor union compliance.
• Maintain and update contract templates and status reports.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and firm policies.
• Demonstrate a positive, client-focused attitude in all client interactions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, contract administrator or the like in the entertainment industry.
• Working knowledge of entertainment law and media production processes.
• Law firm experience desired, but not required.
• Experience in U.S. Copyright Office filings (e.g. Form PA, Document Recordation) desired, but not required.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
