Intern - Live LA Theatre Production

A busy LA based live theater company is looking for production assistants to work on multiple live theatre projects. Please note: this internship is UNPAID. We can offer college credit to those who are still in school, either now or in the fall / winter.

This will mainly focus on the development of our upcoming one act festivals and auditions. Mostly starting on Zoom but work at our theater and storage locations will be mandatory.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a keen and dedicated interest in theatre and the entertainment arts.
Have a sense of humor.
Hit the ground running.
Follow instructions well.
Have strong communication skills.
Take initiative to assist wherever needed
Work WEIRD and long hours- It is theatre
Experience or interest in the following areas including but are not limited to:
Directing
Producing
Design (Set, lighting, sound, costuming, props, etc)
Front of House/Box Office
Social Media
Publicity and Marketing
Web-Design
Social Media
Production & Stage Management.

Ideal candidates should be either currently enrolled in a college/university program (school credit available), a recent graduate or have a passion for Intimate Developmental Theatre looking for a long-term future.

HOWEVER, we do have professional credited positions that open up within the company in our Stage Management & Design areas.

If you have the financial means and are still interested in working part-time on a volunteer basis with our staff, it will be worth your while - we promise.

We are looking for our new colleagues to begin immediately, with opportunities extending into the summer and beyond. Be prepared to work between 8-12 hours each week; we will work with you to set your schedule; however we need interns to work Friday, Saturday, or Sunday events as part of you work requirements when shows are in operation.
