This is a Full Time Job
The Security Engineer will play a critical role in safeguarding WWE's Enterprise Technology computer networks, and systems. This role will report to the VP of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure and be responsible to plan and carry out security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration, exfiltration, and cyber-attacks. The successful candidate takes initiative, can manage multiple priorities at the same time, can weigh risks and articulate security concerns and controls to technical and non-technical audiences. He/she must have a ''security first'' mindset, keep up to date on newly emerging threats and industry best practices around cyber security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support account security across all social media platforms
• Follow standard best security practices and recommend security enhancements to management
• Monitor security industry breach notifications and vulnerability alerts; Identify emerging risks to WWE and and escalate accordingly
• Administer, update and configure Infrastructure cybersecurity tools, including but not limited to ZeroFox; Duo; Skyhigh; Qualys; Keeper Security; and ForcePoint web content filtering
• Monitor and respond to internal security alert notifications such as, but not limited to, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, SIEM, CASB etc.
• Document cybersecurity processes, policies and procedures
• Help plan and carry out WWE's infosec and cyber security strategy
• Maintain, enhance and audit Infrastructures Vulnerability Management program
• Conduct penetration testing to any exploitable weaknesses
• Evaluate and onboard third-party new security products and vendors
• Develop and document Incident Response Procedures for security events and alerts
• Partner across Enterprise Technology to ensure applications and systems are following best practices as defined by NIST, OWASP and the SSDLC
• Work closely with organizational functions such as Information Security & Technology Risk Management, Social Media, Legal Affairs, Digital and Broadcast Engineering to understand processes and align security controls.
• Conduct monthly Infrastructure SOX audits
Qualifications:
• 3 years experience in a security role; or a Bachelor/Masters degree in Cyber Security plus CompTia Security certified; CEH or higher certifications prefered.
• Direct experience with Social Media entity protection; two factor authentication management; CASB; vulnerability scanning; password vaulting
• Knowledge of Kali Linux and penetration testing utilities
• Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
• Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management
Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Fact-based and data-driven decision maker
• Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus
