This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
WWE is seeking an ambitious Global Sales & Partnerships Intern to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced organization with one of the most followed and influential brands in the world! WWE is a publicly traded company (NYSE: WWE), multi-faceted media organization, and recognized leader in global entertainment. The company consists of a portfolio of businesses that create and deliver original content 52 weeks a year to a global audience.
This position will support the Global Sales & Partnerships team with various tasks including category prospecting, outreach, and data acquisition. Throughout the program, you will work on projects with a multi-national reach across various business units. In addition to acquiring meaningful work experience in your field of study, Interns at WWE will participate in engaging events crafted to deepen your understanding of WWE and focus on professional development!
Key Learning Opportunities:
• Build business acumen by conducting category research and prospecting opportunities for partnerships
• Compiling and analyzing data related to industry trends, stakeholders, competitors, current partners, and major sponsorship deals occurring throughout the sports and entertainment industry
• Preparing written materials and sales collateral such as company briefs, business proposals, and other requested materials to help initiate sponsorship deals
• Shadow on prospect facing sales calls and participate on strategy discussions to ensure alignment with objectives
Fall Internship Program Requirements:
• Current Sophomore or Junior actively pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Sports Industry Management or related program at an accredited college or university
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Proven leadership in academics, community service and/or extra-curricular activities
• Ability to dedicate 20 hours/week and work on site in our NYC sales office (Midtown East Manhattan) Sept – Nov 2022

• Functional understanding of the digital/technology landscape including industry trends, and key players
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly organized and diligent
• Agile and effective communication styles (written/verbal)
• Confidence in ability to run with a task or idea
