Department
WWE Creative Media develops promotional material to support the dynamic and versatile programming of WWE on its many different platforms. We are a group made up of dedicated producers, editors, production assistants, copywriters, coordinators, and senior leaders who all work together in a collaborative and creative setting. The department handles all promotional elements delivered to our On-Air Broadcasting programs such as Raw, NXT and Smackdown, as well as to our outside partners and networks (Peacock, USA, Netflix, The CW). We work through the entire creative process including building creative concepts, storyboarding, scripting, producing voiceover talent and graphic creation, editing and delivery.
Responsibilities
The Creative Media Intern will assist the Creative Media production team in developing promotional elements that support WWE's diverse and dynamic programming across multiple platforms. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of promo development within an educational and collaborative environment. The CMD Intern's responsibilities include:
• Creating non-linear timelines in AVID featuring program footage, b-roll and sound bites for use within promos.
• Assisting the copywriter in creating compelling, up-to-date scripts for weekly promotions and deliverables.
• Staying up to date on WWE's product, including current events and branding/messaging.
• Assisting in organizing and maintaining project files, ensuring efficient workflow and accessibility for the team.
• Supporting the team in production workflows to ensure timely delivery of promotional assets.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of information in promotional elements
Qualifications
• Strong communication, organizational and strategic/critical thinking skills.
• Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way, to bring new and innovative ideas to the table.
• Has an interest in Communications, TV/Film Production, Copywriting, or another related field of study.
• Capable of handling various tasks and project needs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Editing experience (AVID) is a plus.
• Excited to learn and grow in a creative and collaborative environment!
Program Details
We offer internship opportunities across WWE, UFC, and TKO Corporate. Locations include Stamford, CT; Las Vegas, NV, and New York City. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.
In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.
Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
Important Dates
• By January 24th: Approved internships will post externally.
• February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
• Mid-February: Recruiters will kick off the recruiting process.
• March 1 -April 15th: The interview and selection process will take place.
• The program will be 12 weeks in length.
• May 19th through August 8th
Recruitment ProcessOur process consists of four steps.

Eligibility
We have a strong preference for rising seniors and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university.

We offer paid internships; rates vary based on location. Pay rates typically align with local required minimums and vary by country.
