The Vice President of Photography will provide the expertise and leadership for WWE's still photography department. This includes the direction and management of in-arena photographers at hundreds of live televised events, appearances, and international tours. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest quality in-ring action, behind the scenes, and studio portrait photography. The VP, Photography will lead the in-house photography department; responsible for editing and cataloging all photography assets. The team leader must have strong communication skills, proactively plan for company needs, and facilitate internal communication. This role will create best practices for editing, data management, and fulfilling the photography needs across all WWE media. This position reports to the SVP, Creative Services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the assignment, editing, and distribution of images across various WWE Media
• Responsible for reorganization of strategy and efficiency within the Photography Department which includes establishment of new process and workflow procedures
• Manage a team of professionals responsible for photography, editing, and maintaining centralized photo database within Creative Services Department
• Responsible for management of department budget
• Meet with WWE Executives regarding the selection of images for use across WWE media
• Ensure that all images meet the quality and usage standards set for WWE brand
• Ensure alignment and collaboration between WWE's Creative Services and Digital Photo teams
• Proactively act as a liaison between the photographer, subject, editor, creative director, publicists, agents, and/or any others involved in still photo requests
• Attend meetings to review submissions from licensees and supply the Licensing Department with images for each individual request
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience managing a high volume fast-paced photography department, including a staff of at least five Photo Editors/Photographers
• Strong and proven track record as an exceptional photo editor
• Sports and entertainment brand experience a plus
• Strong network of industry resources including regional photographers
• Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional
• Able to think, react, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Able to listen to initial direction and revise and execute against internal critiques
• Collaborative with a solutions-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in
• Willing and able to travel as needed for business (approximately 20%)
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure including occasional weekends
• Bachelor degree in related area of expertise preferred
