Spring Intern - Social Media Admin & Editor

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Responsible To: Head of Podcast
Duration: Remote 3 months
Type of Role: Internship, Unpaid (5- 8 hours per week. Hours can be negotiated)

Job Purpose
This position will assist in cultivating an online presence through a a diverse range of tasks aimed at enhancing brand visibility. This role is responsible for community engagement on various social media platforms and content scheduling and publishing.

Essential Functions
Engages with social media audience on multiple platforms
Track and analyze the performance on of posts and videos across social media channels
Write captions for social media posts
Create clips that will go on Instagram, TikTok, and YT Shorts
Schedule and post content consistently
Initiate and maintain engagement with Gen Z social media accounts
Attend meetings

Skills and Qualifications
Interest in social media, communications, and marketing
Familiar with various social media platforms
Has availability to devote at least 5 hours per week
A high level of professional judgment to organize and manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to reply in a timely manner in a virtual setting
Creative thinking and brainstorming for content ideas
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
MUST be knowledgeable in current pop culture and MUST be knowledgeable in TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Though this position is unpaid, we can offer school credit when applicable.
